About Skin Clarity

Hi, my name is Leigh Wilson! I’m a Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in the field of Dermatology. As a busy working mom, I understand the challenge of balancing time-commitments and appointments during the daytime, while also having minimal “me time” for skincare in the evening. At the same time, there are so many skincare choices: from social media ads to the drugstore, from the esthetician to your dermatologist. It can be very overwhelming and confusing!

I’m here to help you put it all together, simplify your choices, and treat with prescriptions if needed. I’ll meet you where you are (your phone or computer), always run on time, and closely follow up via texts or emails. My goal is to help you find a skincare regimen that not only gets your skin clear and healthy but also works for your budget and lifestyle.

More about Leigh…

  • I have been working as a PA in dermatology since 2015. I currently see patients at Knox Dermatology in Dallas, TX 3 days a week. I practice general dermatology which means I perform skin cancer screenings and biopsies, treat rashes such as eczema and psoriasis, manage conditions such as acne and rosacea, and treat a variety of other lumps, bumps, and skin conditions. Prior to 2015 , I worked in family and emergency medicine in Austin for 3 years.

    I’m excited to launch my new adventure, Skin Clarity, in 2025!

  • Graduate degree: Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Rio Grande Valley, 2011

    Undergraduate degree: Southwestern University, 2009

  • I grew up south of the DFW Metroplex. After living in a variety of other areas of Texas (Georgetown, McAllen, & Austin), I eventually moved back to Dallas in 2015 to be close to my family. My husband and I met in college at Southwestern University. We have 2 young, active kiddos and are frequently running around to activities, eating Taco Joint, or playing outside (with lots of sunscreen).

    I love White Rock Coffee, sushi, and a fun girls’ night out (that ends before 10PM). When time allows, I also love to travel and explore new places & cultures!
